Timber Poe has been playing and and singing folk (and folk-inspired) music in classrooms and coffee houses for several years. He can frequently be spotted entertaining kids in elementary schools in and around his home in Carrboro, N.C. Timber plays a wide variety of songs ranging from the historical to the hysterical, with plenty of audience participation. He uses banjo, guitar, ukulele, and mountain dulcimer to back deep, rich vocals.
